§ 2-113. Temporary absence or permanent vacancy.

If the village administrator temporarily is unable to perform the duties of the position, the village president may appoint a temporary successor to serve as acting village administrator to perform the duties of the position. If a permanent vacancy occurs, the vacancy shall be filled in accordance with the appointment procedures provided for in this division.
