§ 2-437. Code hearing department

(a)

There is hereby established a code hearing department, the function of which is to expedite the presentation and correction of code violations in the manner set out in 65 ILCS 5/11-31.1-1 et seq., and this article.

(b)

The adoption of the ordinance from which this article derives does not preclude the village from using other lawful methods to enforce the provisions of its Code.
