§ 46-179. Arrests.

The chief of police and other police officers are hereby severally authorized to arrest, on view with or without process, any person committing a breach of the peace or violating any ordinance of the village or any section of this Code, and to take such person before any judge of any court of law in the state or before any circuit court without unnecessary delay.
