§ 50-73. Sale of spray paint to minors.

  • (a)

    Sale to minors. It shall be unlawful for sale at retail to minors within the village what commonly is referred to as cans of spray paint generally ranging in size from ten to 15 ounces, but not restricted to that size, usually described as containing flammable contents under pressure which are dispensed as a vapor by using no additional equipment other than that included on the can itself when purchased, and which generally is released by finger pressure on a valve nozzle located on top of the can.

    (b)

    Possession by minors. It shall be unlawful for minors to be in possession of a can of spray paint on the property of another without the permission and consent of the owner or occupant of that property except within a motor vehicle.
