§ 54-51. Application of article.

Latest version.

This article shall not apply to the distribution of written material by or on behalf of candidates for any local, state or federal office or which relates to any public referenda or to the door-to-door solicitation by or on behalf of said candidates or referenda except that sections 54-62 and 54-63 shall apply to such political solicitation. Further, this article shall not apply to the distribution of religious handbills or pamphlets or to religious solicitation.
