Chapter 66. STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES |
Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 66-22. Deposit of snow on streets, sidewalks, near fire hydrants; penalty.
(a)
Declared unlawful. It shall be unlawful to deposit on public sidewalks, private or public parking spaces designated for handicapped persons, public streets or obstructing fire department egress of fire hydrant at any time, any snow which accumulated upon and is removed from private property or commercial from the area between an adjacent road line and curbline of the street.
(b)
Exception. This section shall not apply to snow removal performed for or by the village on any public street.
(c)
Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in section 1-8.
