§ 78-56. Regulations.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle for a period of time longer than three minutes for the loading and unloading of passengers, or 30 minutes for the loading or unloading of property, on any public street in the village, whether designated as a loading zone or not so designated, at any time after snow begins to fall and exceeds one inch in depth, and for a period of eight hours after snow stops falling and the snow on the street exceeds one inch in depth, provided that the restriction against parking shall continue further during such time that snow removal operations to remove snow from the street are being carried on and are completed.

    (b)

    The prohibition as to parking on a public street at any time after snow begins to fall and exceeds two inches in depth and for a period of eight hours after snow stops falling and the snow on the street exceeds two inches in depth shall not apply to the following public streets:

    (1)

    27th Street from Chicago Road to Miller Avenue;

    (2)

    Commercial from 26th Street to Sauk Trail;

    (3)

    28th Street from Chicago Road to Miller Avenue.
