§ 2-278. Term.

Members of the beautification committee shall serve for four years; however, each of the initial members of the beautification committee shall serve for a term that expires at the end of the village president's term of office. All members and the chair may be reappointed at the expiration of their terms. In the event of a vacancy on the committee, the village president with the consent of the board of trustees shall appoint another member who shall serve for the remainder of the term of the member whose seat became vacant. The term of a member who no longer qualifies as a resident of the village shall automatically terminate and the member's seat shall be vacant.
