The beautification committee shall make findings of fact and recommendations to the
village president and board of trustees on matters including, but not limited to,
identifying areas of blight or potential blight, nominating businesses or homeowners
for awards of recognition for their contributions to the beautification of the village,
organizing volunteer clean-up and plantings, developing recommendations for streetscape
development, and such other duties as may be assigned by the corporate authorities.
The beautification committee shall report annually in writing to the corporate authorities
on its activities.
